County of Santa Clara Medical Examiner Seeks Assistance to Identify Deceased Individual

A positive identification can help the Medical Examiner notify family members

The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner (ME-C) is seeking assistance to identify a 56-year-old man. He was likely transient and living in a storage trailer in the parking lot of a vacant business in front of 2150 Del Franco St., in San José.

The body was found deceased on June 27, 2024. The man was approximately 6 feet tall and of average weight. Due to postmortem change, his hair and eye color are unknown, nor can the Medical Examiner tell if he had any tattoos or scars.

At the time of his death, he was wearing a black or purple zip-up jacket, possibly a blue undershirt, black or purple winter pants, a pair of dark colored jeans under the winter pants, and thick black socks.

Contact the ME-C’s Office Investigations Unit at 408-793-1900 extension 3 with any information.
