Address Wednesday Night Expected to be Attended by Hundreds of Residents & Community Leaders

Who: 

Santa Clara County Supervisor Cindy Chavez is the first woman to be elected Board President in a decade. She will be joined at the podium by other women who are supporting her extensive women’s agenda and honoring the 100th anniversary of women’s right to vote with voter registration drives for the 2020 Presidential Election & Census 2020 events to get an accurate count.

What: 

Board President Chavez will address where Santa Clara County is headed in the next year including new affordable housing and climate change strategies. She will also celebrate the great diversity of Santa Clara County with music & food. A reception will follow her address at 6:30 p.m.

When: 

Wednesday, January 29, 2020

Music Begins at 5:15 p.m.

State of the County – 5:30 p.m.

Reception in the breezeway at 6:30 p.m.
