2019 Accomplishments
- In 2019, we had the opportunity to meet a 4th grader named Leilani “Sofii” Sophia. We were inspired by Sofii’s story and raised over $6,200 in less than a week to send her and her family to Disneyland. In September of 2019, Sofii lost her long-fought battle against cancer but has truly inspired us all. Sofii will always be remembered and have a place in our hearts.
- Community Resource Deputy Molnar is always out and about to greet everyone with a smile. Throughout the year, Deputy Molnar has attended countless community events to interact, teach and educate the community on public safety.
- We have increased staffing levels thanks to our diligent recruiting efforts. We have been able to hire over 200 sworn deputy positions throughout the year and we are continuously looking to hire qualified candidates to join us in serving our community.
2020 Goals
- The Sheriff’s Office is committed to expanding community engagement through the use of social media. In the last year, we doubled our followers on our various social media platforms.
- Continue to share and highlight the great partnerships we have built with those in our community.
