Santa Clara Valley Healthcare (SCVH) will proudly host a celebration for its Latina/o/e/x physician community on September 27 in advance of National Latine Physician Day, which occurs annually on October 1.
Housing leaders, developers, and partners will celebrate the grand opening of Agrihood, an urban agriculture-focused affordable housing development designed for seniors ages 55 and over, with preferences for veterans and carless households.
The County of Santa Clara will raise the LGBTQ+ Progress Pride Flag in a ceremony to celebrate its commitment to LGBTQ+ rights and the community’s contributions to the county’s culture. The event will include brief speeches from community leaders, LGBTQ+ advocates, and government officials who will highlight the importance of inclusivity in Santa Clara County.
The Board of Supervisors will review and discuss the recommended budget for Fiscal Year 2023-24., which continues to focus on Board priorities that include expanding access to behavioral health services; increasing housing access; supporting criminal justice reform; enhancing support for children and families; and promoting sustainability.
